Help Can you replace the battery on a Motorola Droid 4?

I barely touch my phone during the day, I'm not connected to any data or WI-fi but the battery still needs charging every day and a half or so. I turn it to airplane mode and night and turn off all of the notification stuff. My husband is adamant that I cannot replace the battery, even though I was able to purchase one online. Also, can anyone suggest any apps that I could use to maybe help with watching the battery power? Any help regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

... show you how to replace the battery. This will of course delete your phone warranty.

Before doing anything I suggest you Wipe Cache Partition delete ting all temporary date and not touching permanent data, apps,m or settings. This cleanup might extend the time a charge lasts.

Once you remove the stickers, there are ~2 small screws that need to be removed. After that, the battery falls out. A new one can be installed start to finish in ~15 minutes if you are being careful. It was much easier than I expected and it fixed my phone life.
