Help Can you trade in a rooted phone?

So im not due an upgrade for a long time yet, but was just thinking, when they ask if you want money off the new phone by trading in your old one, will carphone warehouse accept a rooted phone?

If not, what about those companies that recycle phones such as envirophone or mazuma? Do they?

I would use Triangle Away and then unroot. Then you should be good to go.
