Me and my sis are having phone problems and the store told us no. Were a month away and i cant take this no charge problem anymore

Any special way for the 611 people to help out? Hell ive seen people say they upgraded 4 months early

Keep calling and going to the store. I am not sure if it is still in effect but you used to be able to upgrade early without getting the full upgrade price. It was usually about $50 more.

Yeah ive seen people say they had to pay a 30$ early upgrade fee. So i know you can. But both stores said they just cant the "system" wont let me. ******* bs dont lie to me you just want me to have to pay full price

Anyhow my mom called the 611 people and said they cant either. Well im going to keep trying till my upgrade comes up!

So any useful things to say?

There isn't any $30 early upgrade fee. When your contract expires they will charge you $30 upgrade fee when you sign a new contract If you're only a month away, just call and speak to CSR. I don't see why they won't let you upgrade so close to your time.

Everytime I log on to VZW website, it show that I can upgrade in August, even though my contract doesn't expire until December. I'm not sure if I will be able to and I haven't talked to any CSR to verify this.

Contract and upgrade dates rarely match. The contract is 2 years and you can usually upgrade at 18 months (unless they changed that). None of my lines have matching dates.

Contracts are 24 months. Upgrades are 20 months IIRC.

By the way - yes you can upgrade early. Just keep calling 611 and be persistent. If you have been a loyal customer for several years and always paid on time, leverage that. Ask to speak with a supervisor, threaten to cancel your service.

I've gotten a line on my family plan an upgrade about 6 months earlier than the actual upgrade date.

If you upgrade early it's going to be per a store manager or a customer service supervisor. I can tell you right now you wont be able to get an Iphone or High Demand Device.

Untrue - I got an early upgrade to get the GS3 when it came out to keep unlimited data.

If a store rep really wanted to help you, they could. A quick call to COOS to get your upgrade date changed is all it takes. You might get a little pushback, but if you get a decent store rep it shouldn't be an issue. You will need to file several ticks with tech support before a CSR will provide you will an early upgrade.
