Canceling my contract

Can I still use the phone to make phone calls on wifi after I cancelled my contract? I bought the phone on ebay so I don't have to pay etf. How will that work since my phone # will not work? Are there any work arounds/apps to do this? I just installed netTALK and ooVoo apps and they work just fine but I haven't cancelled my contract so I don't know what will happen when I do cancel it.

the only reason I think you might of been screwed is bc im sure they had to add the 4g 10 dollar charge which changed your contract.. So you might of been screwed into a 2 year renewal and not of known it..

on the other hand.. yeah you should be able to do anything you wanna do over WIFI.

i dont think he has EFT... but you better check.

with wifi... I think you should be find.. to use apps to make calls through the internet.

You can make calls via wifi as long as you're using and app and service that provide a different number/way to connect separate from your Sprint number.

If you cancelled a contract that had an EFT clause, then you'll have to pay up. If you simply cancelled and had no EFT, no pay is necessary. You won't be able to use it on Sprint's network without a contract though.
