I recently bought a factory unlocked Verizon HTC One M8 from Amazon. I went to T mobile and got the SIM card placed in the day I bought it. I have been experiencing an issue; sending texts are iffy, sometimes I get error, sometimes I don't. I also can't send picture texts or use data. T mobile says I need to change the APN. I go into my settings, and I can't. There is not change/edit/add new APN. I call HTC, they say it's locked by Verizon and ill have to call them. Verizon says they don't lock there phones and have no idea what to do. Does ANYONE know how I can get this phone working? Has ANYONE had this problem before? I'm close to asking for a refund and buying a refurbished one off the t mobile website.

It might not be locked to Verizon as such, but possibly there's something hard coded in there that's specific to Verizon, like APN. Don't know what you'd be able to do about that, apart from rooting, hacking, flashing firmwares etc.
If you can get a refund, that would probably be the best. And then either get the correct version for your carrier, T-Mobile, or even better a non-carrier generic version.
