OK 2 ways to repair this one is to go into the settings and make sure you have the date in the correct formats and the date is correct . if not correct the date and go back to the Google play. If it still happened do a reboot with the WiFi connection still connected. .once back on try the Google play if still not working I recommend you to do a factory reset post back if you still having trouble
That's probably the most common reason for not being able to connect to Play, when date and time are wrong. Also causes problems when trying to connect to secure HTTPS sites as well.
