Cannot download apps from the Market

I believe clearing the Market cache has helped others. Go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications>Market>Cache>Clear cache and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks, but I've tried that, and all the other "solutions" that I've found so far, including signing in to Google Talk, dismounting micro SD card, clearing the cache from several other applications as suggested, taking the battery out, Factory reset, saying abracadabra 20 times and then crying. None have worked!

Oh well, I live in hope!

I've had this issue a couple times. Try going into and out of airplane mode. My downloads started up right after getting out of airplane mode. Kinda annoying but it has worked for me. Good luck!

have you tried this?it cured my desire

Cleared all possible cache/data on the following:

Market
Market updater
Download manager
Google Mail + Google * (i.e. any other google apps)
HTC Checkin Service
Talk

Then I turned off phone. Turned back on. Then took out of airplane mode. Then market started working. Must be an issue with one of the other google apps which uses my creds.

Thanks, but I have tried that.

I even did another Factory reset today and set up a new Google account. That worked for 5 minutes. I downloaded 3 apps and then it reverted back to the big download freeze.

I HATE GOOGLE and their rubbish Android C*rap. Customer service is non-existent. This "bug" has been going on for years now, and still no solution. What a bunch of useless unmentionables.
