Help Cannot Download Skype

Samsung Galaxy SIII.

I click on "Download from Google Play."
A page partially opens up and a box pops up:

"Warning: Unresponsive Script
A script on this page may be busy . . .

at the bottom of the box are 2 choices;
"Stop Script" and "Continue". I have tried bot with the same results. I have signed into Google Play and the same results.

How can this be fixed?

Have you tried opening up the play store and searching Skype?

That's a more direct route and you're less likely to have issues
