Help Cannot log into Motoblur after factory reset on cliq

Hi,

I am trying to help my girlfriend out. She has had a cliq since March. Recently she ended up doing the unofficial 2.1 update(non-root). All was fine. Upon hearing of the release of the official version, she decided to prep her phone by doing a factory reset as the phone needs to be reverted to 1.5 . Now she cannot log into her motoblur account, nor create a new account. What could be the issue and what can be done to fix it? Any help would be appreciated/.

Maybe you are using the wrong password? If you are trying to sign into motoblur you may have to connect via WIFI or 3G. If you are still not getting to sign in try using the motoblur website on the computer by going to this site:
https://portal-blur.svcmot.com/blur-web-portal-1.0/?x=yncDX3QajxysvYmZri33rQ

You can sign in there to check the password. If you still cannot sign in see if you can recover your motoblur password or create a new profile form the website and use it to log into your phone.

The password is not the issue. No matter what it just won't let her log in.
