Help Cannot move Apps to SD card - AT&T Radiant

Cvan41890

Lurker
So i got a 32GB SD card the other day, and after putting it in, and mounting it i go to move some apps i downloaded from the store; facebook, twitter, etc.. Only problem is there is no option for me to move to SD card when i go under Settings> Apps. My old HTC let me move apps like that, but not this one. Any reason as to why this could be? I thank you all who take the time to answer in advance!

Phone details:
AT&T Radiant
Model: Z740
Android OS: 4.1.2

Many new devices do not support the feature of moving apps to SDCard. Your new phone probably doesn't support this.

Moving apps to SD card is not an Android feature. Google tests Android on devices without SD cards (Nexus). It's up to the manufacturers like Samsung and HTC to add that feature.

Thank you guys, but when I put in the SD card it allowed me to move the apps over, and a few days after it started saying the apps where not there, after removing and re entering the SD card and uninstalling and reinstalling the apps it wouldn't allow me to move them. I haven't updated the OS or anything in between this. Everything was current. Could it be that the OS 'glitched' and let me move but the phone wouldn't?
