Cannot print password protected pdf

I have a password protected pdf file. Using a Samsung S9+ with Adobe acrobat app I can open the file (with the password). However I cannot print it. Get message that document is protected but does not allow me to enter the password.



With an iPhone I can print this same document (after entering the password) without problem!!

HP wireless printer.

According to Adobe their app does not allow for printing password protected of. Makes no sense but awaiting their conformation.

As mentioned all ok with iPhone same document; same printer

Confused as to why you'd use Word for a PDF file.

Anyway, I normally use OfficeSuite, but that's like $10. Paid for that years ago, and it's been useful.
I suggest you try Xodo, Foxit, or ezPDF, since they're free.
 
Did you download HP wireless printer apps from the Play Store because without those apps it doesn't work right, I use mine religiously. HP print service plugin and HP ePrint

open pdf, save as a new doc with different name, close original password protected pdf, open new saved un-passworded pdf, print. this has has worked for me on my s9+
