Cannot see the CODE, SPLIT or DESIGN tabs

Hi all,

I have recently installed Android Studio on my machine.
However, I cannot see the CODE, SPLIT or DESIGN tabs at the top of the screen in the application itself.
How do I make these visible or do I have to reinstall Android Studio itself?
