cannot stup to australia csc

Is it a US variant of the S5 you've got there? Where did you buy it? Suggest you post the full model number, as that may give us a better idea of what's going on.

I purchased the phone in Australia it was on the aus network broke screen and had replaced every thing works fine on the but cannot activate on the aus network that i am on keeps going united states csc with error saying out of service area cheers Bill

G900V which I think means it was originally supplied by and customised for Verizon, a United States CDMA/EVDO network. I don't think you can change a CSC can you? This particular variant S5 is only going to be partially compatible with Australian carrier networks anyway AFAIK.

Who replaced the screen? And how did you manage to come by an S5 variant that was originally only sold by Verizon in the US, i.e. an SM-G900V? Because it sounds like it's somehow managed to become locked again, which means it needs to be activated and used with a Verizon SIM. This phone would have originally been SIM-locked to Verizon from what I've read on AF. Is it showing a message like this?

Although I'm not a Samsung expert, and I've never had to deal with carrier version phones myself. I don't think you can change the firmware, because it's a specific hardware version designed for use on Verizon's CDMA/EVDO network AFAIK.

FWIW I have seen US carrier branded and supplied phones been used here in China, like AT&T.

That is strange because the Galaxy S5 USA G900V model does not have the hardware to be compatible with the Australian 4G/LTE networks*** as it only operates on bands 4 & 13 which Australian carriers do not use. See the comparison between the Australian S5, G900i, and the Verizon model, G900V...

What, "Baseband", is showing for your phone?

*** If you are on a custom ROM as I believe, there is the possibility that it has an adapted modem/baseband utilising the US Cellular, G900R4, band 5, 850, for 4G/LTE that is used by Vodafone Australia. This is the only compatible band on the US model of Galaxy S5 that matches an Australian 4G/LTE network.

I do not understand... your phone, from your screenshots, appears to be already rooted and running a custom ROM, DONGCHAO.A816. What app are you attempting to load?

i tried to download emmc-15root-bootloader-unlock 6.0.1 toget back to kit kat as my marshmallow software would not load aus csc thinl i have screwed up ?

Since you are running a custom ROM on a rooted phone, I do not understand why you would need to unlock your bootloader. Besides, there is no alternative CSC code that you can apply to the U.S., Verizon, variant, G900V, since there is only one variant of the phone, unlike the, say, Global, G900F, or the Australasia, G900i, which all have multiple Customer Software Codes that are compatible with them. Can I ask what you hoped to achieve by changing the CSC code?
