Cannot turn off shuffle in LG music player

I have searched and cannot figure this one out. When I am in the player and playing a song, I can click in the scrolling title at the bottom and bring up the album cover that has the shuffle icon. I can click on the icon and it fades to gray. But, when I go back into the play screen, I still have the bright pink icon and it still shuffles, instead of playing songs in sequence in the album.

Any help is appreciated.

I am having this issue as well. Every time I navigate to a folder/album's content it defaults to Shuffle. To make things especially annoying, when I attempt to turn shuffle off it automatically starts playing a random song within the folder - which requires me to back out again - which re-enables shuffle. And the loop continues.
I can work around it in a fashion once I have begun playing a song by accessing the playlist from within the song, but this seemingly forced default is incredibly annoying.
Anyone know how to disable this and have it stick until/unless I want to re-enable it?

I don't know the LG music player, but TBH if it's that much of a pain I'd just install PowerAmp, Neutron or whatever and forget about the built-in app.

(Actually, come to think of it I've not once opened the built-in app on my current phone...)

If you are still having this issue: In the music player screen, tap the now playing area (with the play/pause, skip, etc... buttons) but not on a button or menu. It should pop-up a now playing screen. Shuffle is on the left side about the middle and repeat is on the right. Tap what you need to in order to set your preferences.

This works - Must've been an oversight in the music player... I'd rather turn off shuffle from within the playlist.
