Can't access Google Play or sign into YouTube

So yesterday my phone was working fine up until 9pm, when it said I had no network connection. I've fixed YouTube, I can watch videos now but I can't sign in, there's apparently no network connection. Aeroplane mode is off, and my WiFi is on. All the other apps apart from Google play work. Google play has the network issue aswell! I'm super annoyed at this as well.

Where are you located? Google has been known to have regional outages in the past. It usually clears up in 24 hours.

I've fixed this problem now! Basically you scroll the menu down and toggle the aeroplane mode on and off, and if you use WhatsApp, you might receive a notification on texts you've missed so that's a sign that your network is back!

Consider it a blessing!

You may or may not be aware of this, but using Google Play Services is not required to use Android Open Source Project (AOSP), in fact they are 2 completely separate things!

Probably just a simple DNS change not catching up in time. A simple network refresh usually takes care of that as you found out.
