Help Can't access my files since established bluetooth pairing

Used to be, I would connect my phone to my Windows 7 PC via a USB cable, and my phone would appear in Windows Explorer as "N800" (the phone's name), and I'd see two folders: one for my phone data, and for my SD card data. Worked perfectly.

Then I paired my phone and my computer via Bluetooth, so I could easily transfer a file without having to get a cable. Now, however, I no longer see my SD card data.

First, when I connect, my phone no longer appears as "N800." It now appears as "34:DE:34:02:46:2D."

Second, if I am connected via USB cable, but not Bluetooth, I can't access anything. I get the message from Windows Explorer: "Unable to get Bluetooth FTP Remote Folder content." Only if I then establish a Bluetooth connection between the phone and computer will I be able to see the files.

So, in other words, the USB cable connection is of no effect. (And, yes, I have it set to connect as mass storage -- "Connect to PC software" option.)

Then, when I finally am connected, I no longer see the two folders with phone and SD data. Instead, I see a bunch of folders: some of them belong to apps; one is DCIM for camera (which is stored on SD card); there's a Download folder, a Bluetooth folder, a "Data" folder (which just has one subfolder, for "Starbucks"); and a bunch of others.

How do I get it working like it was before, where I connect my phone to my computer, and can just see the phone and SD card data, without having to be connected through Bluetooth. Or, even if I am connected through Bluetooth, I'd like to see that same data.

Oh, and I did try removing the phone from the computer's devices. But that didn't help (though, admittedly, I didn't reboot afterwards).

Thanks for any assistance!
