can't access my phone from my pc

[Android Question]

I'm trying to connect my Evo to my pc so I can save some pictures and video. The phone will not send video mail anymore. Ok, I just bought the HTC1. When I try to connect it tells me I must download software it order to do so. When I click on removable disk E it tells me to insert removable disk E. Any ideas

It sounds like you may need to install drivers manually for your phone. Check out the link below, it may offer some insight on how you can accomplish this. If this is unsuccessful, feel free to re-ask your question stating that installing device drivers had no affect on your problem.

I would agree that I had to do exactly the same for my HTC One too to make it connect as you say.

This seems like the most likely culprit.
