Help Can't add a "Restricted" number to "Add to Block List"???

I've been getting this "Restricted" call the past few days and all I can do is delete it.
I can't "Add to Block List"
AND it won't show the number, all I can see is "Restricted".
I've never ever had a call where the number wasn't listed. What's up with that???

Anyone seen this before? What can I do about it, I don't like it.

Unless you are able to actually see the number your phone is unable to block it.

In call block list settings do u have "block anonymus calls" on ? Think restricted call is similar to anonymus. Blocked calls will be silented and will not turn on the display, but you will still see those calls in call log

So how come I can't see the number? This is the first time this has ever happened and I don't like it. I want it blocked as it keeps coming back every day since it started three days ago. I never answer phone calls unless I see who it's from, but I don't like it sitting in the "recent calls" or lock screen area. I have all numbers blocked from lock screen until this restricted call came in.

Because the caller has it caller ID blocked so the number won't show up.

In my country, you can apply to a phone company to have your number as private or restricted so it won't appear.

So how do I block it... my phone won't let me?

Pull up there block list, at the top of the list is an option to block anonymous calls. That should do it.

OK, I have the box checked to "Block anonymous calls" and I'm still getting it on my phone... what to do now? I really want to get block anonymous calls. I hate it when I get that "restricted" call and all I can do is delete it.

See if your carrier can block "anonymous", i.e. calls without a valid number. I know telcos can do it with landlands, because I've done it with BT in the UK in the past. So they should be able to do it with mobiles as well.
