Can't change my default keyboard...

I can't seem to change the default keyboard when it's the only one. I prefer a Google keyboard, plus voice to text as well. (updated from Samsung Galaxy J7 to S9)

Any workaround? Suggestions/advice would be great, too

Just did before I came back here.... it's working. Cool stuff in there. too.
