Help Can't connect my Microsoft Band

jfe

Android Enthusiast
I just got my brand new V10, and it's pretty snappy. The second screen is gimmicky, but does serve its purpose.

Everything is great, except I cannot pair my Microsoft Band.

It's able to see it at first, then it cannot establish connection after the original pairing.

My Band worked fine with my old Note 3, and it's working with my work phone , a limits Lumia 1520( yes, I know you can only have it paired to one phone).

The band is working, I think it's the Bluetooth on the phone that is wonky, although it does work with other headsets.

Anyone running into this issue?

Microsoft support is pointing the issue to LG.

Have you tried a reset with the Microsoft band?
FWIW I've had no issues w/my B/T earbuds or LG G Watch, but,I did have to factory reset the watch before it would pair /work with the Android Wear app.

Not sure if the info you got from Microsoft was from their support/forums,but,just in case, here's some links:

I tried multiple factory resets, and got help from the LG support, and nothing seems to work

So frustrated

Sorry to hear about that,I seldom leave the house w/o one of my wearables, would be quite odd for me not to.
Is there a BestBuy/etc......nearby to where you might be able to troubleshoot/pair up a demo Microsoft Band?

I guess I should try that

Otherwise this is going back

Looks like I am not the only one

Could be that the model has a glitch
At this point,I'd half-jokingky ask Microsoft to send/trade-up your Microsoft Band for the Band2,since your phone does just fine w/other devices.
Then he might flip it back to you, saying the same regarding your phone............... :p
Hey,it wouldn't hurt to ask, worse thing at this point is a polite refusal.
Hopefully, your band is still under warranty & they offer to replace w/the same if nothing else works.
