can't connect to htc sync manager

[Android Question]

when I plug my phone into my computer and select connect to htc sync manager is tell me "Unable to open htc sync manager on your computer. make sure the application is installed and open." and it is open. what can I do to connect? I am annoyed.

I am sorry to inform you but this is an ongoing issue with some HTC devices. I recommend contacting HTC directly.

I went through the same problem and finally gave up. I transfer all my data manually.
