Can't connect to school email on Galaxy S7

Lurker
I recently got a Galaxy S7 and have been unable to get into my school email on it. I can't set it up with the Mail app, with Gmail, with Chrome, or even log in to my Pokémon GO account, which also uses this email.

I have been able to get into it only once - on Chrome in Incognito Mode.

Any other time I try to log in, I type in my email, then get the notification "Your Google Account is managed by [university mail server]. In a moment you'll be sent there to finish signing in." When I hit Accept, I get the notification "Couldn't sign in. There was a problem connecting to [mail server]."

I was able to set it up on my iPod and I have recently signed in on my computer to check that the server isn't down, but it's only the phone that's causing me trouble, in everything but incognito mode. Any solutions?

As you're initially getting bounced to that, "... Google Account managed by..." message I'm assuming your school email is tied to your university's G Suite account, yes?
Given the multiple things you've already done to diagnose the problem I'm just dumping some random thoughts as long shot solutions:
-- Using the webmail interface on one of your working devices, access your account and at the bottom right of the page there's a tiny 'Details' link. Click on it and a box should pop up showing current, active logins to your account, listed by browser info, IP address, and time. If your S7 is listed there try logging it out, and then on your S7 try to log in again.
-- Have you already tried clearing the cache for Chrome on your phone? Of course this won't explain why you can't get things working using email apps but if your webmail access is working that's a small step forward.
-- What URL are you using to log in to your account?
http://mail.google.com/a/your-domain.com
or

https://mail.google.com/a/your-domain.com
