Can't Create new APN

I accidentally clicked on the default APN with the new sim card I got from TracFone and now it won't let me create a new one. It was formally a Samsung galaxy note 4 from Verizon. Texting and Calling work fine.

If there no plus (+) on the top right of the apn settings screen?

There is a plus but it isn't highlighted like it was before and the reset in the menu is too faded not bright.

This setting is only there for that sim card. When I take the sim card out it changes back to normal. Is there a way I can reset the settings stored on the sim card?
