I used a computer application (can't remember which one) too root my Kyocera Milano. It successfully rooted my device, but the app will never let any app that utilizes root permissions go through. I translated the app (not clearly) from Chinese to English and could not find a way too uninstall! Either from the launcher or the app itself, no uninstall. The app is a crowned lion/tiger with a blue shield.

You can't install SuperSU or any other Super User app? I can't speak to the uninstall issue if you have already attempted to uninstall it from the PC in Control Panel --> Programs & Features. If I woke up in your shoes, though, I would immediately run a virus/malware scan on everything this software touched.

Could be the SU installed by the root method you used. Does it pop up in a box with count down timer with two buttons at bottom? If it does, the right button usually grants permission. Most one click root methods that I have tried installs its SU as a system app and though not impossible, hard to remove or replace with SuperSU.
