Can't delete certain photos from gallery app

Hello there I'm ian and I have a huawei p smart 2019. I've noticed that I can't delete certain pictures from the gallery app while others taken in between them can. Its not like there is no option to delete them just when I press the trashcan button nothing happens. Other apps like discord, Skype or messanger don't even notice the existence of the pictures. Its really annoying

Use any file manager app to delete them.

I deleted the file they were stored in and it worked! thanks for the help
