Can't delete contact

I have a ZTE Grand X4 and I have one contact that won't delete, everytime I try a box pops up and says, contacts has stopped working, I have deleted several other contacts, but for some reason I can't delete that one, I'm concerned as to why this one contact wontw delete and how I can somehow get rid of it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Shut off your phone.
Try it again.
If that doesn't work go to settings, apps, contacts, and clear cache.
Try it again.

It just says, con

It says, Unfortunately contacts has stopped working.
Wow, that is bizarre. Usually when you get that message, the suggestion by @Dannydet should have worked.

Now, the other option I can suggest is this. Backup all your contacts to google. Then, in addition to what @Dannydet suggested, not only clear the cache in the contacts app, but clear the data also.
Doing so (clearing the data), may wipe the contacts from your device (phone), but not google. Then check to see if you can either delete that contact from your phone, or from google.

Then if all looks cool, sync your google contacts to your device and you should have them back.

Once I downloaded Google Contacts I was able to delete it from there, strange how I had so much trouble though, thank you for your time and help.
