can't download photos from Prism 11 to mac

I have connected my phone to my mini-mac and I keep getting a message that reads "you are not connected to the internet" or something like that. I have read and re-read all previous posts. I AM using the cord that came with the phone. I did go in and change my usb connection to "Camera (PTP) on my phone - and back toMTP again. I am ready to return this phone.

The Mac won't understand MTP out of the box, and a camera connection won't help with file transfer.

Try installing Google's Android File Transfer tool on your Mac - that should let you browse and copy files using the Finder (works between my HTC One and a Macbook Pro).
