can't find app that converts contacts

Hello!

I want to convert my phone contacts to google contacts and then sync them to my google account, so I can acces them online.

I searched the forum and came up with two apps - the "export contacts" and "contactsync", but I can't find any of them in my market (I'm in Denmark and I have a HTC tattoo). Can anyone help with another app or anything else I can do?

Thanks

Just export them to your card from within the People app and reimport them again. It'll ask you which type you want to import them as.

Yes, the one on your phone already.

You cannot export Facebook contacts. You should be able to export contacts from other accounts though (Phone, Google, Exchange, etc).

I can "save the number on the sim card" if I chose one at a time, but when the only options I have with all the numbers are to import from "google" or "phone". When I save a number on the sim card and then chose "import from phone" it doesn't ask whether I want it as a google contact :-(

On my Wildfire I saved all my phone contacts onto the SD card with the People app. I then exported contacts from SD card to Google/Gmail.

Gmail on the PC has some tools to remove duplicates and help tidy up.

Do you have those choices on your Tattoo?
