They are not in my downloads & can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. I have a Samsung Galaxy s4 gt-19505

How are you downloading the apps?
Apps installed from the Play Store will be installed directly to the /data area. Unless you are rooted you can't see the app installer file (apk) itself, but as long as the app is installed then everything is working as expected. If they are not, please post again with a bit more information about how you are downloading and what does (or does not) happen and we'll see what we can do.
