Can't find my phone under devices

Hey guys! I've browsed this site many times and have had much help with previous devices (thanks so much!) But i decided to join so i can actually be part of the community.
Anyway, so I've tried looking my device up under the device section (LG X Charge) and it isn't there. Any reason for this? This isn't an emergency or anything but i was just curious. But also just wanted to say hello! And so glad to be part of this forum!

If you go to:
https://www.google.com/android/find?u=0
was your LG X Charge showing up properly before and it isn't now, or is it a matter that it never was showing up? Or is this the first time you're checking on this? Basically WiFi or mobile data, and Location need to be enabled on your phone for the mapping to work but it's odd your phone isn't even listed. Try some of the tips referred to here:

I don't see it either, but I think a forum has to be created by admin, @NightAngel79 , hence my tagging of him

Welcome to the site Krista. I noted another site where each and every device was listed for a long time. Then it became too cumbersome and the admins simply stopped. Post your questions where they seem most appropriate and someone will answer!

Actually, all a user needs to do is sign into the app with a given device and the section is auto created!

Let me know if that doesn't work!!
