Help Can't Find Or Open S Voice

I've read that S Voice opens when you double tap the home key, but that's not working for me, nothing happens! I also can't find S Voice in the menu, I do have S Memo and S Planner, is it possible I disabled it somewhere?
 
Bump - I can't find S Voice on my GS3 as well. I didn't uninstall anything, nor changed the ROM, it's stock and I'm not sure what to do...
 
Should look like this ( See Pic )

Go to Settings > Application manager > All . Scroll all the way to the bottom to see if it's disabled.
 
Does double tapping the "home key" open S-Voice for you? That's another way to open the application.
 
Nope, no icons on app drawer; checked the full list of apps on app manager and there's no S Voice; double tapping the home key does nothing.
This is weird, how do I put S Voice on my S3?
 
That's really strange - never heard of an S3 that didn't come with S-Voice.

What carrier are you on? My only thought is to either do a factory reset and see if it comes back or try to find the APK for S-Voice online and install it to your device?
 
I think a factory reset won't do anything, since the app is not even in the phone...
No carrier, mine is unbranded. What SHOULD be better, switching to another ROM or installing it from the APK like if it wasn't a S3? o.o

Wait, you are running a Custom ROM? Did you flash all the necessary files that go along with that ROM?
 
To be honest your not missing much. S Voice was way overhyped & half the time you ask it questions it just says " Would you like to search the web." I messed w/ it for a couple of days & then disabled it. So I wouldn't freak out or go thru alot of trouble to get it. Just my opinion.
 
Have you guys checked your software version? I have baseband version I535VRLF2, I heard that there was a software version that was supposed to dumb down the S Voice due to the Apple lawsuit.

It still should be on the phone no matter what version. They are just dumbing it down, not completely doing away w/ it.

Not a custom ROM - it's Samsung official ROM, unbranded (no carrier), unlocked, and the phone is the International version I9300, completely stock without modifications, and it simply didn't come with S Voice :hmmmm2:

There are many factors that could make it work poorly, you know... Anyway, I'd just like to try it, and it's kind of frustrating not having it by default :s:
 
I installed the APK and I'm here again to say I really shouldn't have bothered at all.
S Voice is bad at the moment, all it does is very basic functions that you could do with a couple taps on the screen... It takes longer to speak, and there must not be ambient noise, so yeah, I wasn't missing anything. Thank you anyway, guys!

I have a Sprint Branded GS3 and ever since the KitKat update S voice has disappeared and Google now resides as voice commands.

Your on very old firmware - that is Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4. I'd update if I were you, your GT-I9300 (Samsung Galaxy SIII international version) should be updatable to 4.3.
