Help Can't find pictures anywhere

Hopefully you guys can help me out, I just got the LG V10 yesterday and can't seem to find any of my downloaded pictures on it.

I downloaded some pictures from a text (GO SMS) but they are not showing up in the gallery, downloads app, or file manager. When I save the picture it says "saved to /storage/emulated/0/gosms/download" but I have no idea where that is. I have a few pictures from Facebook saved, and they show up just fine. It's just anything saved from a text...

Any help is appreciated!

I use Textra & the photos show up both in Gallery & File Manager apps.

FWIW,I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ditching all "GO" products,very unnecessarily obtrusive apps....................
 
I use stock messaging app (Verizon Messages+) or Textra and mine show up in Gallery and File Manager (under my SD card) also auto set to save to OneDrive.

It works just like a Computer.
That saved to / storage /emulated/0/gosms/download
is were it is being saved to.
Most likely it's a hidden folder and a format that only go sms will recognize.

Your not going to find it in the standard download folder nor the gallery.
 
It's not a hidden folder. Get you a file manager app (I use Solid Explorer) and look for a "GOSMS" folder. Go in there and go into the "download" folder inside there. Your pictures are in there. Additionally, there is a ".nomedia" file inside that folder that prevents the gallery from accessing all media within this folder. If you delete that file, the pictures should appear in the gallery (though you have to enable hidden file viewing on your file manager settings to see it). Or, if you ever need to "hide" pictures for whatever reason, ".nomedia" is your quick and easy solution.
