Android Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I am working in an office that has a WIFI signal. I am using it on my laptop now. My phone sometimes finds it but shows it as "not in range". Other times it does not seem to locate the signal at all. I have never had this problem except with this one WIFI signal.

Thanks

Good morning, and thanks for using AndroidForums!

If this is a secure connection, offered through your employer, it may be the encryption on the network being set up specifically so that it isn't discoverable by mobile devices. The building I work in, has a Corporate WiFi set up that is not obtainable on my Android phone, however they have an un-encrypted guest network that shows up just fine. I would ask around about the intensity of the security contained on the network in question, I'm sure someone in the office with a bit of technical know-how, can offer you some answers.

If this doesn't help, feel free to register for a free AndroidForums account, as I am sure someone in our vast user base has encountered this issue in the past :)
