Can't get into bootloader

Hello,
For some reason, I'm unable to get into the bootloader. When I power off my device and do Volume Down + Power, it boots me into recovery (which it should do), but I can't access the bootloader from there. When my device is connected via USB, doing adb reboot bootloader simply restarts the device. Other things I should note: : USB Debugging is enabled in Developer Options; however, there was no option to enable OEM Unlock in Developer Options. Also, I can't disable fastboot since there is no option to do that in Settings -> Battery. How can I access the bootloader so I can use fastboot commands?

If you have the AT&T or VZW model, you're SOL:
Both are locked down,no option to unlock the bootloader.

I am using the VZW model. So there is literally no possible way that I can unlock the bootloader and root my phone?

If it ever happens,it'll be here:

My money is on it'll never happen.

As for other models (T-Mobile is unlockable/rootable) being compatible,it would be 4g only & check w/VZW if you can use another modelon their network:

hi Christ and KOLIO,

@Christ Sorry to hear that you have same issue like me.

I also have LG V10 which is korean model F600L. I can't get into bootloader too on this phone. I have already checked OEM unlock and usb debugging. I tried both pushing power and volume down buttons simultaneously, and holding volume down and plugging in usb cable which is attached to my laptop into phone at the same time. And also tried it via adb tool either. None of them worked :( . Only solution I could find is that one vietnamese guy rooted my model here with a link to download a system file and some photo proofs but unfortunately lack of tutorials. I am being hopeless now.

Please advice me if you have any work-around in mind. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance!

Here's the root guide for the T-Mobile variant of the LG V10:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/general/guide-how-to-root-lg-v10-easy-t3274699

Do not attempt this on any other model of the V-10,especially those with locked bootloaders.
This is for the T-Mobile model only (LG-H901).

Thanks for reply, my friend. Unfortunately, methods from that thread only works for T-Mobile variant (LG-H901), not with my model LG-F600L. I will wait and keep digging around net and forums until I find a way that really works. Once I do, I will report right back here.

Have a good day!

Do you have the Enable OEM Unlock option in the Developer Options section of Settings?

yes, I have it already checked~

OK.
That's actually a good sign, though not a guarantee that the bootloader can be unlocked/or an indication that your phone could or couldn't be bricked if attempting to proceed any further. The settings may be identical across all models & not a true indication that it can be unlocked.

FWIW,on the T-Mobile V10,the unlock/install TWRP/ROOT process does not include any button combination, just ADB/Fastboot commands,as stated in the links previously posted.

If your phone can be unlocked,I'd suspect the method is similar/identical.
By chance have you come across anyone who has tried the method given for your model of the V10?

If so,what was the outcome?

Honestly, I don't know the proper method for my model. What I tried was copying the methods that I found from rooting guide for other variants. The only solution that I could find so far is that vietnamese guy's so-called rooting guide which I stated in my very first post above. By chance, this morning I found a post on facebook by another vietnamese guy that he could have rooted my model. I PM him already if he can help me with bootloader problem. I will let you know if anything new happens. :)
