Can't get started with ndk on linux

I try to run an example code using C++ language, I installed all what I need as described in this page : https://developer.android.com/ndk/guides/
I do that on Windows successfully, but on Linux, this is my issue.
when the main window shows my three apps directories, I found that CPP directory has no file inside even the file "native-lib.cpp" exist !

Check you've got GCC installed in your Linux OS?

yes, but I think gcc has nothing to do with "android Studio"
the build failed sending this message : External native Build issues

I've never used Android Studio and I'm not a developer, but I guessed that GCC might have been a dependency that it needs if youre coding in C++.
