Hey Guys, I have a Samsung J7 that I have been using for about 6 months. Everything was working fine till I changed the privacy settings to allow least access to apps. I noticed after a day or two that I was unable to hear sounds during phone calls. I checked Skype and what's app calls and sound was perfect.
To solve this, I tried the following:
1: Granted access to all apps
2: Reset phone to factory settings
3: Removed device from Google
But nothing has worked.
I then rebooted the phone after a hard reset and didn't add the Google account and guess what? I was able to hear the sound. As soon as I added the Google account, the sound was gone again.
This has got to do with some settings and I don't know how to fix this.
Can someone help me with this?
