Cant input text into Flash web apps

I have sideloaded flash and it works with both Firefox beta and Dolphin HD. The kids are wanting to play webkinz and club penguin (both flash based websites). I can get to the login just fine, but when I click in the username field, the keyboard pops up like normal but not text is actually entered into the field. I can hear it "click" on each key press but nothing shows in the text box.

Any advice on how to input text? Is it any different if I were to root? It would be much more peaceful around here if I could get them logged into those sites

Are you using stock keyboard or something else? I sometimes have problems using swiftkey and have to switch to stock. In facebook via the web for example, I cannot submit comments with swiftx and have to use stock.

It's the stock keyboard. Maybe I should try Swiftkey...
