Help Can't install apps even though i have 2 GB free memory?

I have a weird problem with my Galaxy Mega (i9205) running stock Android 4.2.2 (rooted). I noticed my memory was running out (Internal on 8 GB) so I cleared about 30-40 apps sp I got 2 GB of free memory. The weird thing is that I tried to install a license key for SD Maid (on 80 KB) and it keeps telling me I don't have enough space for it? I then tried to install Plants Vs Zombies (on 170 MB) which worked fine! I also tried to install JuiceSSH just to see if there was something wrong with SD Maid and that didn't work either! I also tried updating some apps and all apps fail to update except Snapchat. I have tried manually downloading a .apk file and installing it though both ES File Manager and Android Terminal. None of those work. Can someone help me please? :(

Make sure you're clear on the difference between memory and storage. You don't install apps in memory, you install then in storage. You can have tons of memory free, but if yoou have no storage free, you can't install apps.
