Can't install or update apps - please help

During the last few days I've been unable to update or install any apps on my UK Nexus 1. I keep getting "Download Unsuccessful"This did coincide with me switching to Gmail instead of GoogleMail but I switched it back and things still don't work so I don't think that this is the answer. I have plenty of room on the phone & SD card.

Any ideas ?

Really ? - so what is the problem ?, not seen many issues here myself. I'm still having problems - anyone with the same problem ?

Edit - nevermind found a thread which seems to be the one I should be posting in.
