Help Cant make calls

Sometimes on the S3 if i phone someone it will just hang up straight away,The only way to phone anyone is to restart the phone. Its happened once this week and once last week.

Are you on a stock/custom rom? Are you using the main phone dialer or a 3rd party app?

Can be poor signal at time it was placed was you moving in a car or bus transfer from tower to tower

Nope poor signal wasn't the issue,at the times it happened it was full signal. Funny thing since ive posted this its not happened again.

I had the same problem, as well as texts failing. It started with the 4.3 update. Try clearing out the caches. Also, the latest bug-fix update cured my phone.

Hi what caches do you mean the internet cache? Not had a latest bug update since the 4.3 update.

Happened again im wondering if its something to do with a weak signal even though my signal is good im wondering if the person im calling has a low signal,It rings on their phone but then hangs up straight away.

I had the same problem with the update to 4.3. But when the mini update came out it went away. Here is what I found that worked for me when I had this issue. Turn airplane mode on, wait a about 10 secs and then turn airplane mode off. You should now be able to call and txt with no issues. I found that this is better than waiting to restart the phone. Hope this helps.

Recommend this. Not sure if it's possible with Vodafone, but I know it is with Verizon. Doesn't always help, but couldn't hurt.

Thanks for the tip ive not tried that method,what i have done now is a full reset and hope that will fix it,i had that small update but when i went to install it i got a message saying it couldnt install,now you cant get the update,kies doesnt work either so im out of luck for that update.

At this point, I'd recommend going to a Vodafone store.

Yes it does sound like that as it behaves in the same way,also when i cant make calls and someone trys to phone me then it goes straight to my voicemail,going to see how it goes today as i will be near a vodafone store.
