Help cant move to and from ext. sd

I can no longer move any files to/from my sd card. It was working fine with root explorer and now i get the message saying kk4.4+ does not allow this. Ive tried sd fix, total commander, factory reset. I do have root. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you make a backup?

I had to manually edit my platform config to get media_rw access to the external sd write permission group
