Help Can't open xbmc app on smart tv box

I have just bought a smart tv box a couple of days ago as I am an old dodder my brother in law set it up for me.as I have not got a clue i use a wireless mouse every thing was working ok but when I tried to use it the next day when I went on xbmc all I had was sound and no picture then that went off.and when you click on the xbmc app it will not open but all the other apps work and I can watch movies ok anyone got any ideas what as gone wrong as I have not got a clue thanks.

Had this happen to me. All I did was unplug the power cord then plug it back in again and all was good again. Can't say what the problem was but it workrd for me.
