Help can't play music and videos

[Android Question]

I can't play music and videos on my HTC desire S. I know most of you will suggest that the fault is from my SD card. A friend of mine use HTC chacha and he switched to HTC desire S and he is also facing the same problem. he is using the SD card that he used in the chacha but he can't also play some music files and video .i want to know if anyone using HTC desire S is facing the same problem. A friend of mine Tess me the fault might the software am using. please I need help

Try a different media player. Maybe a problem that happens with HTC stock media players.
