Help Can't read letters of a foreign language.

I moved some .rtf files I created in wordpad on a laptop with windows 8.1 to my android tablet. The files contain Hebrew/English vocabulary, and when I open the files on the android none of the Hebrew symbols are there. How do I open the files and have the original Hebrew symbols?
