Can't receive MMS. (Sorry if wrong area, couldn't find proper place)

I'm currently having trouble with my phone. I can't receive MMS messages but I can use the internet. The phone is an HTC HD2 running Android 2.3.3. There's one thing that may be contributing to the problem. It is one of the first Windows phones that my father had installed the Android mobile OS on. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried turning off wifi and turning it back on. I know this sounds dumb but this is what you have to do with the Galaxy Nexus in order to receive mms...

Never seen a fix, been this way for years (well about 2 :p).

This has to be somekind of a bug. I need to do same when sending mms with Note 10.1. If wifi is activated, then mms isnt sent.

On our phones, as far as I know, the WiFi setting has no effect; however, Mobile Data must be turned on.

Okay. Thanks for all the help, guys. I found a solution earlier today.
Here's the solution:
Turn off Wi-Fi.
Turn Mobile Data off, and then on again (for me, it's switching it to 2G data then back to 3G.)

Yep sounds like a typical thing I have to deal with when MMS are either trying to be sent or received. Is a real pain in the butt :(

Good to hear you found some type of solution though.
