Root Can't Reinstall BlurHome?

Alright, so I've tried a few methods of reinstalling BlurHome.apk, and all of them fail. I've tried:

-Installing from the /system/app/ folder with both .apk and .odex
-Installing from the /system/app/ folder with .apk only
-Installing from outside the /system/app/ folder with both .apk and .odex
-Installing from outside the /system/app/ folder with .apk only
-Installing from the /system/app/ folder with .apk only, after renaming it "BlurHome0.apk"
-Installing from outside the /system/app/ folder with .apk only, after renaming it "BlurHome0.apk"

They all end in me getting a message that says "Home could not be installed on this phone.".

Before anyone asks, yes, I have it mounted as r/w, yes I have read the thread found here, and no, it doesn't work (for me at least) for BlurHome on the Devour.

Any ideas as to why this is happening/why I can't reinstall this app?

Nevermind -- after my phone randomly reset itself a few times it finally recognized that BlurHome was in the /system/app/ directory.
