Help Can't remove gmail without factory reset

I signed in on my mum's Ace and I cannot remove/change it. I more likely want to change it to her own. How do I do that?

Sign in again using her account, then go to Settings > Accounts and you will see both accounts there...click the actions menu for your account and you should see the option to remove it.
