Can't save with FPse.

Hey all,

Is anyone using memory card files to save game progress instead of save states?
Has anyone been able to save to memory card successfully?
I have been trying to create a new save file on the first Spyro the Dragon game but it says unable to create save file.
I have gone into the memory cards with PSX MC Manager and deleted all that was in them, which was just one save so space in the cards is not a problem.
I also have a fully working Bios so that is not a problem.
How do you make the memory card files work so you can save like you would normally with a real PS1?

I am using a Galaxy S5, rooted, please help if you can.

P.S. I might have read that the memory cards may have to be on the phone storage and not on the SD card, would that make a difference?

I figured out what the problem was, I solved it by moving both the Bios file and the memory cards to the internal storage, not the external SD card, of the phone. The Bios I'm using that seems to work very well is SCPH-101, no visual glitches so far in the games I have tested. I hope this information comes in handy for anyone else trying to do the same thing.
