Cant Search Music In Library HTC

I cannot search for music anymore. I have an HTC Sensation. When I go into my music, and press the search button, It does not do anything.
If I am listening to a sont and press the search button, It goes to google search bar....

What could be the problem? It was working fine a few weeks ago.

Have you tried clearing the music player's cache data? The search function on my friend's Sensation XE actually does not work since the first day he bought it. If you cannot find a solution (or it bugs you so much), you probably should try flashing a different ROM (though rooting may void your warranty).

Phone Settings => Apps => Music App => Clear Data
