cant seem to transfer songs from mem on phone to sd????????ZPlz help

Il bought a 14 gigabyte SD card in my phone memory is full and I cannot get the songs to SD card and I see no option to even when I plug it up to USB what to do. Just want picsvids andy songs on sd. I have a 3g xt
